Session 1

Drop in sessions. Every other week on Wednesday. I expect these to run well into October or longer.
Text-only on Foundry VTT.
Episode 1: The Sunless Citadel: Part 1
Level 1 Official races / classes with starting equipment only.

Here's how it works: You are not committed to this campaign. Each session stands alone and each session is for the level indicated regardless of whether you played in the previous session (each episode is for a higher level). However, if you do return, you may bring whatever treasure you gained in previous sessions. It isn't quite a campaign and you don't have a lot of choices. Each session has a set mission and we will play until the mission is complete, so these sessions may run longer than my usual 3 hours.
About Foundry: Foundry is a Virtual Table Top. You will log in to Foundry using an ID that I will provide and you will be given a token based on your character's description (you may use your own image if you have one) which you will move around the maps during combat. You do not need to download anything but you will log in through your browser. Foundry works best in Chrome but does not work in Safari. As far as I know, it works fine everywhere else. You must create a character on DnDBeyond in the campaign linked above and I will pull it into Foundry. Then, you can either manage your character in Foundry or in DnDBeyond as you prefer but you will not have access to Foundry between games. If you have the Beyond20 Chrome extension. you can easily manage rolls and everything between DnDBeyond and Foundry.
Foundry has its own text chat system (and audio and video, but we won't be using it) It makes cute little chat bubbles above your character icon
